Battlefield 3 Game engine improvements

Battlefield 3, the current battlefield uses a update version of the frostbite game engine. The frost bite 2 game engine is one of the best game engines I've seen so far in gaming. The game has features like distructable scenary, realistic balistics and vehicle combat. The main changes to the game engine is the light effects and sound wave ripple affects when an area that has been hit by a explosion.

The light and laser effects have been designed to be able to blind a player when the laser or flash light is aimed at them. The developers also decieded to develop light sources better, shooting out the light would cause a room to go dark and anyone with a flash light has an advantage in those areas.
